Diamonds in the Dirt Mountain Bike Skills Clinic
Less Confident Riders
This clinic is primarily aimed at people who still consider themselves above beginner level and feel they have learnt the basic beginner skills. The clinic is for those who want to practice the course under the supervision and instruction of national and globally qualified mtb coaches.
More Confident Riders
Although targeted to riders above beginner and below intermediate level, this clinic is definitely open to any rider who wishes to come along and see the race course for themselves.
What will I learn?
Aside from seeing the race course itself, you will be coached on many elements to help you have a safer, more enjoyable race experience come race day.
What will I learn?
Skills learned will include the following and more.
- Choosing the best lines;
- Getting over obstacles;
- Handling pinch climbs;
- Small drops/step downs;
- Race Craft (passing and being passed).
Is this program for me?
“I already ride a lot but I have never raced before.”
“My riding friends are racing and I don't won't to let them down.”
“I don't feel confident on a race course"
"I want to make sure I can ride the obstacles before racing”
